Permaculture Design for Diverisity Workshop by Transition Phillip Island

The workshop will be facilitated by two permaculture designers;

The first of whom is a melbourne women called Kat Lavers:

Kat has contributed to some amazing projects including permablitz melbourne, eating the suburbs, transition darebin and has worked extensively with Rick Coleman through the Permaculture Design Courses.

The second facilitator is Adrian James, Adrian is currently working on the Food Hub project in Cowes and designed and built a sustainabile strawbale house and is in the process of setting up a Permaculture Garden.

The Day will include an introduction to Permaculture and an overview of Kat's Eating the Suburbs project, and then Adrian will introduce and discuss his own local property as a permaculture case study.

The Community Garden site will be utilized as a context for illustrating permaculture design principals.

Participants will have the option of bringing a site plan of their block or property and to be involved in a design workshop that will provide an opportunity to sketch out some design ideas and to receive some feed back on design potentials for their project.
