Information

Sustainability Victoria (SV) is a Victorian Government agency that contributes to a livable and prosperous Victoria by delivering integrated waste management and resource efficiency programs.

Many of SV’s programs and grants (from Detox your Home, Smarter Resources Smarter Business to ResourceSmart AuSSI Vic) engage with local government.

SV@ Your Doorstep is a new way for SV to connect with regional stakeholders – these kind of forums connect with multiple sites in real time across Victoria and agendas are stakeholder driven. Find attached your invitation (with agenda) to participate in a forum to discuss how SV and local government can work better together.

This is a great opportunity for SV to hear from you, for you to share your stories and experiences about working with us and to discuss ideas and approaches to improve the way we work together. The forum will also discuss current and future SV programs with other local government attendees.

The forum is to be run as an interactive web-based (WebEx event) with one event location per region (e.g. one site in Gippsland , Hume, Loddon Mallee, Grampians and Barwon Southwest), providing the opportunity for attendees to directly interact with participants from other locations.

This event will include a number of structured sessions, including, individual workshop discussion at each location on questions and requests for information raised as part of the recent pre-event survey process. Venue locations have also been selected based on your feedback.

Please RSVP Luke.wilkinson@sustainability.vic.gov.au ph 0427850478 by Tuesday 20 May 2014, and include an dietary requirements.
