The Southern Gippsland Sustainability Festival is an event that focuses on sustainable living options in Southern Gippsland.
Held annually, the festival is now in its fifth year, and hosts displays of alternative energy, local produce, self-sufficiency skills and a range of sustainable products.
The festival aims to showcase a range of exhibitors and eco friendly products, provide practical information, down-to-earth demonstrations and speakers. These provide practical skills for residents and visitors to use daily at home, work and in their community.
Local entertainment and children’s activities mean that the day is not just about learning, but is also about fun.
Held in the picturesque setting of Korumburra’s Coal Creek Community Park and Museum, this event has been very well attended, growing since 2010, with the 2013 event attracting over 2,500 visitors. Media advertising for the 2014 event will include TV, local and state-wide newspaper advertising, so there’s bound to be a good turnout!
If you have an interest in supporting sustainable living, then the Southern Gippsland Sustainability Festival is the place for you!
