The LLMT has been designed for local government and land managers to: -Increase their access to best practice data collection techniques to inform management of litter and illegal dumping -More efficiently evaluate litter and illegal dumping in their local area -Conduct cost benefit analysis to improve their local litter prevention projects
At the end of the training session, participants will be familiar with:
-The purpose of the LLMT
-How each of the six tools are designed to be used -Entering data into the LLMT spreadsheet -Generating reporting and -Analysis and reporting of litter data.
The target audiences for LLMT training sessions are: -Local government officers involved in the investigation of litter and illegally dumped waste -Local government officers involved in the clean-up / disposal of litter and illegally dumped waste -Local government officers involved in litter and waste education and campaigning -Land managers interested in learning about illegal dumping data collection -Sustainability Victoria’s Public Place Recycling Grant recipients -Waste Management Group staff -State Government and other agencies with a role in management of litter and illegal dumping – EPA Victoria, Parks Vic, CMA’s etc.
Please bring along a laptop so that the tool can be uploaded and utilised in the training
