Old rail way station, Fish Creek

On the old rail platform a community garden is beginning to take shape with raised round garden plots and a small orchard. A dedicated group of gardeners meet every 2 weeks to take part in maintaining and implementing this productive garden. We plan to put in some extra raised garden plots in the figuration of a train leaving the station. There is a large yellow tea pot in the garden surrounded by herbs that are all appropriate for making tea. This garden nestles beside the rail trail so gets a number of bike riding enthusiasts. The old rail shed still stands in the garden and serves as an equipment shed and meeting place.
