On Saturday August the 9th we are holding a planting day on a 2ha site that was over-run by 30 metre high Sycamore Maples. We are looking for helpers on the day but please note the task is a bit of a challenge. Access is via 2.5km walk, which will probably be quite muddy. Movement around the planting site itself is difficult, as it is covered in undergrowth, there may also be the odd Leech. Trees will be protected from Wallabies by large mesh guards.
If you can handle the conditions and are keen to help we would love you to come along. The meeting spot will be at the Tarra-Bulga National Park visitors centre car park (Balook) at 9am. To register or for further enquires phone 0488 035 314 or email firstname.lastname@example.org (BYO lunch, Drinks etc).
