The Lake Tyers Coast Action group is having their AGM at 10am on Sunday September 7 at 71 Lakeside Drive, Lake Tyers Beach.
Morning tea will be served and once the necessary business is over and done with there will be a sausage sizzle lunch before leaving for a tubestock planting activity on the nearby Toorloo Arm foreshore at 1.30pm.
This will be making a start on a revegetation project along this foreshore made possible by a Coastcare grant, recently awarded to our group.
This project forms part of the proposed scenic walking trail that will eventually run from Lakeside Drive to Fishermans Landing. This long term project is in accordance with the 2007 Lake Tyers Urban Design Project which includes a series of linked pathways through this beautiful area. For the planting afternoon please bring appropriate footwear, water, etc.
Anyone is most welcome to join in any or all of the activities on the day, for which you do not have to be a member. RSVP would be helpful.
