Past Events

Gippsland Bioenergy Forum and Field day

Day 1 is likely to be held in the Heyfield (TBC) and whilst the program is still being developed, we do have a number of great speakers confirmed already. The topics they will be covering topics including; * the business case for bioenergy, * grants and other financing options, * bioenergy technologies and their application in various bioenergy and biofuel production systems, and * practical experiences and lessons learnt from developing recent bioenergy projects in eastern Victoria and beyond. Day 2 will be a field trip to visit a number of bioenergy installations in the Latrobe and Wellington Shires. A bioenergy dinner is also proposed for the evening of the 18th – TBC. A program and event booking details will be forthcoming in a couple of weeks, once most of the speakers and the field trip itinerary have been confirmed.
